May 1 – Blue & Green Day Wear your blue and green proudly.
May 1 – Shine a Light on Community Living As it does every year, Toronto’s CN Tower will be helping to promote Community Living Month by lighting up in blue and green as part of Community Living Ontario’s “Shine a Light” initiative. We encourage you to join us by changing your exterior lights to blue and green in support of the Community Living movement.
May 2 – Annual Flag Raising & BBQ Join us at 11:00 AM in front of the Civic Centre. We will be announcing the recipients of The Rob McLandress Make a Dream Come True Fund. The Joyce M. Carr Champion Award will be presented to a local business. A delicious BBQ will follow the awards (by donation).

May 31 – Barnstormers Game “Community Living Chatham-Kent Night” Community Living Chatham-Kent has been invited to throw the first pitch at Fergie Jenkins Field for the Chatham Barnstormers game on May 31st! We encourage everyone to wear blue and green in support of Community Living Chatham-Kent as we close out Community Living Month in a BIG way! Tickets go on sale April 15th with special group pricing available for those purchasing in person or over the phone. Who’s throwing the first pitch? Stay tuned to find out! Let’s fill the stands and celebrate together!
LIBRARY CAFÉ – Throughout the month of May, the Library Café will providing free beverages thanks to the generosity of Postma Heating & Cooling. Visit the Library Café between 9:30 am and 1:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and ask for your free beverage!
