Community Living Month was a great success! This year’s theme, Authentic Inclusion, remained a top priority for Community Living Chatham-Kent.
We were delighted to see many community members at our Flag Raising Ceremony! Thanks to Schinkel’s Gourmet Meats, OPSEU Local 148, Subway, and Maple City Bakery, we successfully hosted a hot dog lunch that raised over $700 for Community Living Chatham-Kent. Special thanks to Mayor Darrin Canniff and our Leaders Within Speakers, Morgan and Courtney, for sharing greetings with our attendees.
Another highlight was our hosting BizconneCKt in partnership with Sons of Kent and the Chamber of Commerce. A heartfelt thank you goes to our exceptional Leaders Within Speakers, Chelsea and Paige, who inspired us during the evening.
Did you enjoy a complimentary beverage at the Library Café in May? Thanks to Postma Heating and Cooling, who generously sponsored free beverages at the Library Café for the entire month!
We extend our gratitude to everyone who dressed in blue and green, illuminated their homes and businesses, attended our events, and contributed to Community Living Month!
